For the third week in a row, we have a new number, Slade crash straight into the charts at number one, with “Skweeze Me Pleeze Me”. Just two singles move into the top 20 this week, “Take Me to the Mardi Gras” by Paul Simon, at number 17 and “Hallelujah Day” by the Jackson Five, which is at number 20.

This week’s biggest mover is Dave Edmunds with “Born to Be with You”, which climbs 8 places to number 11.
