Dawn Ft Tony Orlando make it 4 weeks at number one with “Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree” and The Sweet are poised for number one next week, moving up 2 places to number 2. Three singles move into the top 20, Anne-Marie David with “Wonderful Dream”, which is at number 13, Deodato with “Also Sprach Zarathustra (2001)”, at number 19 and The Detroit Spinners with “Could It Be I’m Falling in Love”, which is at number 20. Shirley Bassey re-enters the top 20 at number 18 with “Never Never Never”.

The biggest climber this week is Perry Como with “And I Love You So”, which climbs 14 places to number 6.
