Four records in this week’s top 20 are non-movers, including the Top three, so Slade celebrate their 4th week at number one.  Five records move into the top 20 this week, Gilbert O’Sullivan with “Get Down”, at number 7, Timmy Thomas with “Why Can’t We Live Together”, which is at number 13, Dawn Ft Tony Orlando with “Tie A Yellow Ribbon Round the Old Oak Tree”, is at number 16, Neil Sedaka with “That's When the Music Takes Me”, at number 18 and The O’Jays with “Love Train”, which is number 19.

Shirley Bassey with “Never Never Never” and Cliff Richard are this week’s joint highest climbers, as they both move up 9 places to numbers 11 and 4 respectively.
