Suzi Quatro takes over the number one spot with “Devil Gate Drive”, as Mud drop to number two with “Tiger Feet”. David Bowie enters the chart this week, straight in at number 6 with “Rebel Rebel” and Ringo Starr also goes straight into the charts at number 15 with “You’re Sixteen”.

Five singles move into this week’s top 20, Alvin Stardust with “Jealous Mind”, is number 3, The Hollies with “The Air That I Breathe”, which is number 8, Barry White With “Never Never Gonna Give Ya Up”, at number 14, Bay City Rollers with “Remember (Sha-La-La-La)”, at number 18 and Charlie Rich is number 20 with “The Most Beautiful Girl”.

The biggest climber this week is the Love Unlimited Orchestra with “Love’s Theme”, which climbs 9 places to number 10.

Mud remains at number one for a fourth week with “Tiger Feet”, Suzi Quatro is joint biggest mover on the chart this week, as “Devil Gate Drive” climbs 12 places to number two and the Wombles also climb 12 places to number 7 with “Wombling Song”.

Just one record moves into the top 20 this week, Lena Zavaroni with “Ma! (He’s Making Eyes at Me)”, which is number 16.

Two singles move into the top 20 this week, The Wombles with “Wombling Song”, which is at number 19 and the Love Unlimited Orchestra with “Love’s Theme”, which is at number 20.

Lulu is this week’s biggest mover, with “The Man Who Sold the World”, which climbs 8 places from number 13 to number 5.
