Carl Douglas is number one for a third week, with “Kung Fu Fighting” and John Denver retains the number two slot, with “Annie’s Song”. Four singles move into the top 20 this week, Ken Boothe, with “Everything I Own”, which is number 13, Elton John with “The Bitch Is Back”, is at number 15, Andy Fairweather-Low with “Reggae Tune” is number 18 and The Commodores with “Machine Gun”, are at number 20.

Two records share the honour of being this week’s biggest climbers, Sweet Sensation with “Sad Sweet Dreamer”, climb 10 places to number 5 and Peter Shelley with “Gee Baby”, climbs 10 places to number 6.
