Chuck berry hangs on to top spot but faces a challenge to
stay at the top next week, as Slade (number 2), T-Rex (number 4) and Jimmy
Osmond (number 5) are looking to get to the top of the charts. This week four
singles move into the top 20, The Moody Blues with “Nights in White Satin”, are
at number 15, John & Yoko & Plastic Ono Band, with “Happy Xmas (War Is
Over)”, is at number 16, The Four Tops, with “Keeper of The Castle”, is at
number 18 and The Royal Scots Dragoon Guards with “Little Drummer Boy” are position
at number 20.
Roy C with “Shotgun Wedding” is the biggest climber this
week, moving up 6 places to number 10.
