Gary Glitter is holding off all challengers and remains at number one for a fourth week. Wizzard go straight into this week’s chart at number 19, with the classic Christmas song “I Wish It Could Be Christmas Every Day”.

After dropping down 8 to number 10 in last week’s chart, The Osmonds go back up 5 places to number 5, with “Let Me In”.

Just one record moves into this week’s top 20 and that is Kiki Dee with “Amoureuse”, who is at number 16.

Mott the Hoople with “Roll Away the Stone”, is this week’s biggest mover, climbing 9 places to number 8.
