Platronic are a Finnish/German electronic band, their music is best described as melodic and danceable.
So far the duo have released 5 singles, with their latest release being a 3 track single called "The Healing".
The opening track on "The Healing" is called "The residance which opens with a nice piece of orchestration, before a dance beat kicks in, hints of a Pet Shop Boys influence on the track, wonderful vocals by Kay Burden over a really impressive synth backdrop, definitely one for the dancefloor.
"The Forest" begins with a nature ambient sound easing into a lovely slow paced beat, this has a very chilled out vibe, quite minimalistic musically, with a dreamy chanting vocal by Kay, again some nice orchestration added at the mid point of the song.
The final track "The Beginning" is an instrumental, with superb strings and piano and some really nice lead synth parts, could easily be a soundtrack piece for a film, a fabulous track.
This is a very impressive release, which is also quite varied, which is something that really stood out for me.
It is their finest release to date, and certainly shows, they have developed their sound really well.
