New Maschine Brennt Single "60 Seconds" Reviewed

Maschine Brennt are to release the track "60 Seconds" as a new 3 track single on February 22nd.

The track made it's debut on the recent "We Are Machine Pop 4" compilation released by the Plonk Music Label.

For the new release we get the full version of the track and it is fantastic, a driving rhythm and infectious bass synth are the key ingredients in the track, indeed it is the bass synth (not to be confused with the actual bass-line elements of the song) that grabs your attention with it's body jarring rhythmic sound, over the top we have delightful melodic parts and sequencers as well as the vocoded vocals.

"The Rhythm Of The Beat" is like a dub version of "60 Seconds" and has  more of a Kraftwerk feel to it, it took me back to those 80s 12 Inch Dub versions you used to hear, brilliant use of sequenced patterns that are very melodic too.

The final track is a remix of "60 Seconds" by Akamagoo, which is a real gem, superb use of the Roland 808 Drum Machine, it also has a bit of a Hip Hop influence running through it. New synth parts are also added and they are superb additions to what is a solid track.

Definitely Maschine Brennt's finest moment to date and an absolute joy to listen to.

10/10
