Introducing ..... Cosmicity

Cosmicity are a Synthpop band based in the United States.

The man behind Cosmicity is Mark Nicholas and he has been releasing music for over 20 years and has gained a very respectable fan base. Cosmicity have released no less than 10 albums and have just released "Humans May Safely Graze", the first Cosmicity album in just over 10 years and it is a welcome return to form.

The Cosmicity sound is mainly based around the sound of OMD and the Pet Shop Boys.

This show features tracks from most of the albums released prior to the "Humans May Safely Graze" album as well as tracks from EPs. Introducing ..... Marsheaux

Marsheaux are an all girl Synthpop/Electronic duo based in Greece and state their influences as Depeche Mode, Erasure, OMD, Pet Shop Boys and New Order.

Marsheaux have gained a faithful following across Europe and beyond during their 10 years as a group and to date they have released 5 albums "Ebay Queen", "Peek-A-Boo", "Lumineux Noir", "The Ebay Queen Is Dead" and "Inhale" and they are set to release their 6th album, which is an ambitious project, as they have recorded the Depeche Mode album "A Broken Frame" in it's entirety! A vinyl version of the album is set to be shipped shortly and there is to be a 2CD set released which will also include extended versions and B-Sides, which were included in the Depeche Mode singles that were released from the album.

Introducing ..... Eurotix

Eurotix are a Synthpop duo based in Sweden and model their sound on bands such as, Erasure, Pet Shop Boys and Sparks.

To date Eurotix have released one album, the wonderful "The Secret" which included, the singles, "I Plead Insanity", "Let's Die Young" and "Life As It Slips Away". In addition they also released the truly excellent EP "Are You Strong Enough" late last year. The band are currently putting the finishing touches to their second album, which is due out soon.

This show features tracks from their debut album "The Secret" as well as singles and B-Sides.

Introducing ..... Metroland

Metroland are an electronic duo based in Belguim and model their sound on electronic pioneers Kraftwerk.

To date Metroland have released one album, the very impressive "Mind The Gap" which included, the singles, "The Passenger" and "Enjoying The View". "Mind The Gap" used the Underground rail system as it's concept. A rail theme continued with the release of another fantastic track "Thalys" late last year and now they are set to release their second album "Triadic Ballet", very soon.

The first track taken from the forthcoming album has just been released and is called "Zeppelin" and is one of the tracks featured on this show as well as one of the B Sides "The Hindenburg Landing". In addition we also include, singles, remixes, tracks from their debut album as well as the stand alone single "Thalys".
